The world of the Tale of Genji conveys an ephemeral beauty that is in a state of eternal change. The view of this unique world will be expressed by several artists, including ancient Japanese court music of Gagaku and dance by Hideki Togi, music performed by Iwao Furusawa and Satoru Shionoya, storytelling and song by Mari Hanafusa, and dancing by Kikunojo Onoe.
